Breakdown Education is an education platform and community for all learners. It acts as a bridge between formal education and community-centred learning, championing intersectional, diverse, and accessible knowledge networks.
"Breakdown with Beth and Rachel" began in one of the lockdowns of 2020 when Beth Price and Rachel Louise Gunn saw a need for accessible and engaging educational content. On YouTube and Instagram, we started to create guides and share our tips for bridging the gap between school and university education, particularly dealing with the challenging situation of Covid-19 lockdowns and online learning.
In 2021, we were the recipients of a British Ecological Society Outreach Grant (OR21/1026) to produce CEADI Science, an online course that combines scientific values and ecological themes.
